It can sometimes be difficult to choose just the right thing to wear when having your portraits taken. Here are some tips and tricks to help you prepare for your custom photography session:

For newborns, I prefer no clothing so the focus is on the beauty of new life. Clothes often swallow up a newborn and detract from the tiny details that are being captured.

For young children, I enjoy color! Avoid the color white, patterns or logos. Pay attention to feet - barefoot or a funky pair of boots is always fun.

For families and couples, I recommend complimentary colors, but not necessarily matching. Again, color can add a new element to your portraits.
