warmth | las cruces children’s photographer

The weather has been unusually cold for winter in New Mexico. Temperatures dropped below zero, which is a record for our warm town. It was my first experience with frozen pipes and I can’t say I was a fan. It didn’t take long for the fun of the snow to wear off, especially considering how quickly snow melts in a place with this much sunshine.

I wanted to share an image today that bring warmth to the soul. This photograph brings to mind the memories of summer, sunshine and happiness. It tells the story of childhood: simple, innocent, beautiful. Wouldn’t it be a terrific canvas? This may be one of my favorite images to date.
